Ischiorectal Myxoid Liposarcoma: 26

A D V E R T I S E M E N T

There were focally atypical cells with features suggestive of lipoblasts (note the “scalloped” appearance of the nucleus by vacuoles. These cells were generally S100 positive; not a pathognomonic finding, but consistent with the impression of lipoblasts). Interestingly, there were some very densely collagenous areas present in the lesion as well. This lesion was sent to AFIP for review and additional workup.
