The patient was taken to the operating room 6 months after presentation for potentially curative resection of the abdominal mass. The mass can be seen bulging in the mid-abdomen. The operating team consisted of urology, surgical oncology and cardiothoracic standby for potential vascular complications.

A seeker needle was used to locate the internal jugular vein for cordis catheter placement (see Seldinger technique.)
