A 75-year-old man could not be catheterized prior to a surgical procedure. Standard tricks, using different size catheters, lubricant in the urethra, Coude tip catheter were unsuccessful. The urology consultant visualized the urethra using a 15Fr. scope. The membranous urethra is shown.
