Prior to mobilizing the sac, the peritoneal neck of the sac was injected with 5 cc more of local (fourth of four injection sites: 1 skin/sub-Q, 2 external oblique, 3 tubercle) to prevent peritoneal pain and nausea.

The sac was sharply dissected from the cord structures (cautery is avoided to prevent injury to the cord and vas.)
