The tumor is outlined. The patient was taken to the operating room for radical left orchiectomy (see radical orchiectomy) with the presumptive diagnosis of germ cell tumor (see non-seminomatous germ cell tumor, primary mediastinal non-seminomatous germ cell tumor and discussion, and metastatic testicular germ cell tumor) and high likelihood of embryonal component based on the alpha-fetoprotein level.
