A 22-year-old woman was worked up for a two-month history of post-prandial abdominal pain and gastric distention. Barium enema demonstrated free mobility of the colon with the cecum in the left upper quadrant.

In addition to malrotation, the CT scan showed multiple other anomalies. There were multiple (6) spleens, pancreatic divisum, and azygous continuation (see azygous continuation) of a left-sided inferior vena cava.
