As the next step in workup, the patient underwent dedicated chest CT to help localize and characterize the pulmonary nodule. She was scheduled for CT-guided lung biopsy to confirm that the lung lesion was malignant and to differentiate primary lung tumor from metastatic breast. Tumor board recommendation for chemotherapy would depend on the nature of the lung lesion. Radiation therapy was considered an option as an attempt at local control. Surgery was not considered a therapeutic or palliative option.
