Cystoscopy showed stool in the bladder. Colonoscopy did not show the colonic end of the fistula. There was slight sigmoid narrowing without mucosal disruption. Mucosal biopsy was normal.

There was a dramatic 1cm opening in the posterior wall of the bladder slightly to the left of midline.
