Several subdermal Vicryl sutures were used to anchor the flap in place.

Multiple 6-0 Prolene sutures were placed circumferentially and to close the remaining Y portion of the defect. After the flap was completed, it appeared viable and had adequate capillary refill. All the incisions were dressed with bacitracin as well as Steri-Strips.
