A 15-Frech drain was placed underneath the flap, and it was secured to the skin using a 2-0 nylon suture. Skin was closed using 4-0 Monocryl in a running subcuticular fashion.
One year follow-up, shows complete healing of the flap with adequate perfusion and very minimal scarring. The aesthetic outcome was optimum and the lesion was cured with no recurrence. The facial nerve is intact with no limitation or alteration of muscular movements.
