A 72-year-old man presented with signs and symptoms of acute cholecystitis. A CT scan done at the time of admission showed a distended gallbladder with thickened wall and pericholecystic fluid.
A 3.5 x 3.5 cm lesion of the tail of the pancreas was also seen on the CT scan. Metastatic workup was negative as were tumor markers with the exception of a minimally elevated pancreatic polypeptide. The patient had a history of multiple vascular procedures including aortobifemoral graft.
