The lateral (named for the brachial plexus cord of origin, not anatomic position) pectoral nerve is seen penetrating the pectotalis minor.

A tangential wedge of the left breast (viewed from the left side) was taken in continuity with the mass in order to obtain wide margins. Left nipple is visible beneath the plastic drape to the lower left and the sternal insertion of the left pectoralis major is visible.
