A D V E R T I S E M E N T
A 60-year-old man presented with marked swelling below the left ramus of the mandible, trismus and dysphagia of 2 weeks duration. He had had a similar episode several years previously which resolved spontaneously. Clinically, the mass was suspicious for carcinoma, but CT scan showed two large stones in the left submaxillary gland.
