The choledochojejunostomy was created with a mucosa to mucosa anastomosis using fine absorbable suture. The jejunum was tacked up the liver capsule at the hilum to relieve tension on the anastomosis.

Mesenteric defects were closed, and closed suction drains were placed before closure.
