The cephalic vein is present in the fat stripe representing the delto-pectoral interval. The deltoid muscle is on the left and pectoralis major muscle is on the right.

The cephalad 1 cm of pectoralis major tendon was released. The conjoined tendon is seen behind and coursing superior to the pec major tendon.

The subscapularis tendon (see shoulder anatomy) was visualized anteriorly. Note the cauterized anterior circumflex vessels at the inferior margin of the subscapularis tendon.
