A 24-year-old woman presented right lower quadrant and right anterior thigh pain. CT scan showed a 3-cm right lower quadrant retroperitoneal mass abutting the right psoas.

The axial MRI cut shows the lesion. CT guided biopsy was non-diagnostic. The presumptive diagnosis based on symptoms and location was schwannoma (see schwannoma of the brachial plexus, schwannoma of the radial nerve, and spinal cord schwannoma.)
