Three sutures of braided 0 non-absorbable material were placed between the medial part of the inguinal ligament and pectineal (Cooper’s) ligament, taking care to avoid injuring or compressing the adjacent iliac vein. If the patient had not been so thin and Cooper’s so easily reachable, the inferior bite would have been taken in pectineus fascia.
