Obstructing Small Bowel Primary After Colon Cancer: 1

A 64-year-old man with a history of right colon resection for carcinoma presented with small bowel obstruction. The patient had been having progressive episodes of partial bowel obstruction in the months prior to admission. Colonoscopy on this admission revealed no lesions in the remaining colon or at the anastomosis.

The patient had known pulmonary metastases and was undergoing chemotherapy. Multiple lesions were present bilaterally.
